2018 Joint Annual Conference Session: Event Information

Dear members and friends of the Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain annual conferences:

Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ!

As Bishop Karen Oliveto called in her invitation letter, the Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain annual conferences will be coming together for annual conference from June 7-10, 2018 in Ogden, Utah.

Here is the latest news regarding the 2018 Joint Annual Conference Session.

2018 Joint Annual Conference Session and Location
Both conferences will convene together at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7 and culminate with the Ordination and Commissioning service on Sunday morning, June 10. The 2018 Joint Annual Conference Session will be held at the Eccles Conference Center, 2415 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT 84401.

Theme Presentation
Our theme will be based on our quadrennial emphasis of “Living into Beloved Community,” with a missional focus on “Safety, Homelessness & Justice.”

Ministry Immersion
This year, we will provide a mission opportunity for our lay and clergy delegates and guests. We will immerse ourselves in a day of service and advocacy related to our conference theme in the Ogden and Salt Lake City areas.

Working Together – Two Conferences, One Location
This will be a combined annual conference session in which both annual conferences will be accomplishing our work side-by-side. More information on our process, registration, lodging options, travel pools, and fees will be posted in the near future.

Here we will post our schedule, registration and housing information, petitions, deadlines, and other items related to the business of the annual conference. When registration goes live, it will be accessible through the above link.
